GoCards ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information when you use our GoCards mobile application ("App").

GoCards is a loyalty card wallet application designed to help you organize and manage your loyalty cards conveniently on your iOS or Android device. We take your privacy seriously and want to be transparent about our practices.

2. Data Collection and Storage

What Information We Collect

GoCards collects minimal information. The only data we collect is:

• Barcode Data: Information from loyalty card barcodes that you voluntarily scan using your device's camera.
• Card Metadata: Information you manually enter, such as card names, store names, or personal notes about your loyalty cards.

Where Your Data is Stored

All data is stored locally on your device only. GoCards uses Sembast, a local database solution, to store all your loyalty card information directly on your phone or tablet. This means:

• Your data never leaves your device
• Your data is not transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers
• Your data is not stored in the cloud
• Only you have access to your loyalty card information

3. Camera Access

GoCards requires permission to access your device's camera to scan loyalty card barcodes. Specifically:

• Camera access is used only for scanning barcodes when you choose to use the barcode scanning feature
• Your camera feed is not recorded, stored, or transmitted
• We do not access your photos, videos, or any other camera-related data
• You can deny camera permission, and the App will still function for manually entering card information

You can manage camera permissions at any time through your device's settings.

4. No Network Communication

GoCards operates completely offline:

• The App does not require an internet connection to function
• No data is sent over HTTP or any other network protocol
• There are no external API calls or server communications
• Your loyalty card data is never transmitted to the internet

5. No User Tracking or Analytics

GoCards does not track, monitor, or analyze your usage:

• We do not use analytics tools or services
• We do not collect usage statistics or behavior data
• We do not track how you use the App
• We do not collect crash reports or performance data
• We do not use cookies, beacons, or similar tracking technologies

6. No User Accounts or Authentication

GoCards does not require user login or account creation:

• No username or password is required
• No email address is collected
• No personal identification information is collected
• No account information is stored on external servers

7. Data Security

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, the security of your loyalty card information depends on:

• Your device's operating system security features
• Your device's lock screen and authentication methods (PIN, biometric, etc.)
• Your device's file system permissions
• Physical security of your device

We recommend protecting your device with a strong lock screen password or biometric authentication to prevent unauthorized access to your loyalty card data.

8. Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

• You can delete individual loyalty cards at any time through the App
• You can delete all data by uninstalling the App
• Uninstalling the App will permanently remove all stored loyalty card data from your device
• We have no way to access or recover your data after it is deleted

9. Third-Party Services

GoCards does not integrate with or use any third-party services that would access your data:

• No third-party analytics services
• No third-party advertising networks
• No cloud storage services
• No data sharing with any external parties

10. Children's Privacy

GoCards does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any personal information or require any registration, there are no special protections needed. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the App, please note that no personal data has been collected or transmitted.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
